Hi all I was putting Sophie's school books into a pile when I noticed some-thing she had written for english here is what she did
Describing people Appearance- 5ft 5 blond/brown hair greeny/brown eyes Dress- relaxed Habits- loves going out for coffee/meals likes/dislikes- knitting sewing cross stitch fabber eggs Rod stewart the film Roots dislikes-mashed potatoes Distentive feactures-has a limp
Description of my mam My mum stands at a thin 5ft5 figure she has short blondy/brown hair. she has sparkling green coloured eyes that have flecfs of brown in. The green is emerald but darker. She is a very kind caring person you can see this in her facial expression. The cloths she wears are quite a relaxed style like black trousers with a tight fitting top. She talks with a towny accient, that can sound Irish at times. Mary loves going out with friends and goes to Witherspoons quite reguarlly. She also loves going to craft shops. She loves Knitting and cross-stitching, the things she knits look shop bought. She limps like a pirot, but thats because she has rheumitoid arthritus and multi Scroiocs
I have written this as Sophie has written it so if any-one is out and about you will know what I look like I was very touched by this I will say a big thank you to her when she comes home thought I would share this with you take care Mary L

Oh Mary, she has got you right to a T. Reading this took a tear to my eye as well. You are rightly proud of one special lady - just like her mum, the 'pirate'. Always did think that you reminded me of someone else!!
Love Eleanor x

That's fantastic!!! There is somehting SO special about a child's writing ... a little window into how they see their world. Out in the street, it would be your face beaming with pride that would make you recognisable Joanna

I bet that made you smile Mary. Our Elizabeth once wrote a poem about me, i have kept it somewhere, all i can remember about it at the moment is that she put in 'my mum hates her tired look and doing housework, it makes her grumpy'. Still very true. Bevxx

Oh, that's lovely Mary, I bet you're so proud! Congratulations to Sophie on her maths results as well.
I didn 't have any descriptions of me from Lucy, but she always writes lovely things in cards that she sends me.

How lovely, Mary, especially as she wrote it not actually for you to read, if you know what I mean.
